Indochina Adventure Cycling from Bangkok to Saigon is built to start your tour in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand, planning to cycle in 3 of the most fascinating and diverse countries in Southeast Asia including Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. From Bangkok, we will head to the border, cycling on quiet back roads to Cambodia. In this tour, we will also cycle to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Wat temples before heading to Mekong Delta in Vietnam. We will end up our cycling holidays in Sai Gon for departure. This tour takes us across 3 countries with recent histories as well as different cultures. From the busy Bangkok’s streets, we will make straight to roll limestone hills of the largest national park- Khao Yai in Thailand.
After moving into Cambodia, we will cycle through paddy fields heading to Angkor, the famous temple and city complex situated at the center of the previous Khmer empire. It is also one of the great historic sites in the world. Then, we will cycle to Phnom Penh, where we can see stark reminders of Cambodia’s recent past.
After arriving in Vietnam, we can see the Mekong Delta, which is a patchwork of waterways and rice paddies, or known as “rice bowl of Vietnam”.
We end up our cycling tour in the busy city of Saigon, where you can see frenetic pace contrasting with some of the rural places we have ridden through.

Day 1: Cycling on Trails/ Jungle Roads Near Khao Yai (Cycling distance: 80km biking)
Meeting at the hotel in Bangkok and transfer out of the city for start doing Indochina Adventure Cycling tour.
Our cycling route today is over 80kms. However, we suggest that you should not make your attempt to cycle all the distance unless you are acclimatized to the high heat.
The supporting vehicle will follow you throughout the day, and you can choose to cycle as little or as much as you like.
Our cycling tour today includes byways, minor roads as well as the dirt trails as we head to Khao Yai, which means “the Big Mountain”. Besides, we will also cycle through past monasteries, small villages as well as paddy fields.
We keep Cycling along back roads. We will arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon. Check in hotel. Dinner and overnight at Khao Yai.

Day 2: Cycling to Sa Keaw (Cycling distance: about 70km biking)
Today, we will cycle to minor roads and we can see rural landscapes including eucalyptus and rubber plantations, as well as rice and tapioca fields. Besides that, there are some easy rolling hills. The route today is mostly flat.
The cycling tour ends up when we get into a busier road before completing the last short distance to the Sa Keaw town by bus.
We enjoy local dishes and stay overnight at a hotel in Sa Keaw.

Day 3: Cycling to Aranyaprathet (Cycling distance: about 90km biking)
In the morning, we will leave the hotel early and then cycle towards the gorgeous Pang Sida National Park. We will stop for swimming in a reservoir and go sightseeing the untouched jungle. Having lunch at a sanctuary before we continue riding on quiet roads, yet well-maintained scenic roads heading to Aranyaprathet, where is 10km away from the border of Cambodia. Check in hotel. Day 4: Aranyaprathet – Border – Sisophone ( 40km Cycling)
After having breakfast, check out, take the van head to the Poipet border for Immigration into Cambodia. We change the Van at the border. Today, we have the opportunity to do adventure bike tour exploring the Cambodia, The King doom of wonder.
After Immigration, we transfer outside the busy town of Poipet for starting our Cycling tour to Sisophone. We stop for lunch at the local restaurant.
Riding to Sisophone, there’s not much to see, but in another, it’s simply astonishing. The road is a poor state, Rocky, dusty and difficult to ride.
The traffic is thin, but the trucks and cars that do go past kick up a lot of dust. This is pretty much how it is all the way through Cambodia, and it gets worse than this on some stretches, so you might as well stop complaining and learn to live with it.
Arrival Sisophone, we check in guest house. Dinner and Overnight at Sisophone.

Day 5: Sisophone to Kralanh (40km Cycling)
After breakfast, check out then start cycling from the hotel to Kralanh that is a small crossroad town, with a market and a bevy of enthusiastic drink girls who will surround you as soon as you stop the bike. But there’s no need to worry, ‘cos like most Cambodians, they are very sweet and sensitive.
The Road of Cycling today is mix of dirt and paved stretches, but an easy enough stretch of road
We enjoy the sightseeing of the landscape, natural river and local life the local people, stop for a chat with some of the folk you meet, and you may be invited in for tea. Arrival Krolanh. Check in a guest house. Dinner and Overnight at krolanh.
Day 6: Kralanh – Siem Reap (60km Cycling)
After breakfast, check out for start Indochina Adventure tour to Siem Reap. The road for cycling today is the mix of dirt and sealed stretches. But it is easier than the Sisophon – Kralanh. We take the Bike tour from the hotel heading to Puok is 40km. Puok is a relatively prosperous looking town and has some good cafes nestled in beside the Central Market. Stop for lunch at Puok. After Lunch, we continue cycling to Siem Reap. The last 20 km is paved and in good condition all the way to Siem Reap. Check in hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 7: Exploring the Angkor Temple Complex (Cycling distance: about 35km biking)
Today, It is a great of Indochina adventure cycling to visit the wonders of Angkor temple complex.
The variety of temples is spread over wide areas, and they are connected by shady avenues.
Following our way by bike will offer us a unique perspective. Our cycling tour includes the jungle that covers Ta Prohm, with the Fromagier trees’ roots clinging to the old stones.
Besides, we can see the largest Angkor Thom temple complex, which includes the Leper Kings’ Terrace, the well-known Bayon temple with 37 towers (there were originally 49 towers) topped with the 4 faces of the King. Lunch at the local restaurant.
Afternoon, cycling to visit the wonderful Angkor Wat, with its long causeway, huge moat, and massive towers. It is the world wonder and known as the Asia’s largest temple complex. It is a wonderful day of adventure bike tour in Siem Reap- Cambodia.

Day 8: Cycling to Banteay Srey temple & Explore countryside landscape (Cycling distance: 80km biking )
Breakfast at our hotel, We start our biking adventure trip through the countryside, rice paddies, and small villages. We will stop for snacks in a local wooden house after about 20km biking. Then, we go on cycling through the scenery of the countryside. Having lunch in a local house. We continue visiting Banteay Srey temple. We stop for visit the temple around 30 minutes then cycling back to Siem Reap city.On the way, we visit the landmine museum. Dinner and stay Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 9: Cycling To Tonle Sap Lake & Transferring To Phnom Penh Cycling distance: 30km Biking
Breakfast at our hotel and start riding along the canal to Tonle Sap Lake. We stop for snacks at a local pagoda then we continue Cambodia biking adventure to take the boat trip to visit Tonle Sap Lake & floating villages.Then we have lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, we take the speedboat to Phnom Penh. It takes 6 hours and a half. On the way, we enjoy the natural landscape, The fisherman, fishing village. Arrival Phnom Penh transfer to hotel check in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 10: A Boat Trip To Phnom Penh ( No Cycling )
We have breakfast at our hotel and then transfer to board speedboat heading to Phnom Penh. The boat has toilet and life jacket. This trip may take us about 6 hours. And it is one of the most common boat trip crossing the Tonle Sap Lake, which is one of the South-East Asia’s biggest freshwater lakes.
Once the boat leaves the dock, you can see the picturesque floating village. The community here comprises of Vietnamese, Cambodian and Muslim minorities. The school, gas station and market are also floating.
The floating areas move up and down depending on the season. According to a calculation, Tonle Sap Lake may reach 10,000 km2 in the rainy season, but in the dry season, it may have only 5,000 km2. It takes 6 hours and a half. On the way, we enjoy the natural landscape, The fisherman, fishing village. We have packaged lunch on the speedboat.
We arrive in the port of Phnom Penh. we visit Silver Pagoda, Royal Palace, and National Museum. Check in hotel. dinner and stay overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 11: City Tour in Phnom Penh ( No Cycling )
The Phnom Penh’s fortunes have dramatically shifted during its long history and the years of the Khmer Rouge as well as civil war in the periods of 1970s and 1980s.
Today, we will visit 2 sites, which will offer us a great impression of a few of the horrors.
We will visit the Genocide Museum, the former Khmer Rouge prison called S-21 or Tuol Sleng. It is located at the center of this city. 15kms outside town is a place known as the Killing Fields. It is a massive grave as well as the site for the previous inmates of S-21.

Day 12: Phnompenh – Takeo – Tinh Bien Border – Chau Doc (Cycling distance: 75km)
In the morning, we will travel south out of Phnom Penh to the Takeo town and start biking to Phnom Den. It takes 53 km with the Quite road. Arrival the Tinh Bien Border, Immigration to Vietnam. Say goodbye Cambodia. We will meet the Vietnam Local guide and Continues Cycling to Chau Doc Town. We stop for lunch at the local restaurant far from the Border 4km.
After lunch, we ride approximately 28km to the hotel in Chau Doc. Check in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 13: Chau Doc – Bachuc Killing Fields – long Xuyen ( Cycling distance: 70km)
After having breakfast, check out then depart to take the boat trip for visiting floating houses and the fish farm village in the Mekong river where we can see some kind of the fishes some red snappers, catfishes,… breeding under the floating houses.
Then, we continue to move to visit the Cham village with approximately 12.000 people who are weaving hats, sarongs,… by hands as a way to keep their ancestral tradition.
We go for a walk to the mosques where Muslims pray and teach Cham children in Arabic for a moment. After that, we back to take the Van transfer out site the Town around 10km for start Bike tour to Ba Chuc district. We cycle passing Khmer Buddhist temples and village. Enjoying the scenic landscape of the rice field, Many Thnot trees and mountainous.
After complete 35km, Arrival Ba Chuc ’s killing fields where is the regime of Polpot killed over 3,000 Vietnamese people in 1978. We stop for water and visiting around 30 minutes. We continue cycling 19km to Triton district for Lunch at the local restaurant.
After lunch, we keep cycle 15km along the canal passing the local village and the rice’s files. Completing 70 km, taking the van transfer to Hotel. Check in hotel, Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Long Xuyen.

Day 14: Long Xuyen- Can Tho city (B/L/D) ( Cycling 80km)
After breakfast, we transfer 15km out site the busy city and start bike tour passing through huge rice paddies, canals, and villages. Having lunch at the local restaurant in Co Do district. After lunch, we continue the ride to Phong Dien village on a narrow road. We stop riding at Khmer Buddhist temple where we have snacks and take photos. Arrival Can Tho city we take the bus transfer to Hotel. Check in hotel. Dinner at the local restaurant nearby the Mekong river.

Day 15: Can Tho- Tra Vinh (B/L/D) ( Cycling 80km)
· After having breakfast, we will take a boat trip to Cai Rang floating market. It is the famous of floating market in Mekong Delta in Vietnam. Our boat will go through the market slowly so that we could see the busy activities selling as hold sale market.
· After our boat trip, we ride on paths to Cau Ke District though Tra On. Having lunch at the local restaurant in Cau Ke district.
· In the afternoon, we keep riding to Tra Vinh city. We stop for water at Khmer temples located in the countryside of Tieu Can. From here, we could see the daily activities of Khmer community and know the history of the Khmer people and Khmer Buddhist temple by the tour guide.
· After that We keep cycling on rural roads heading to Tra Vinh city. Check in hotel. Dinner & Overnight in Tra Vinh Town.

Day 16: Tra Vinh- Ben Tre- Saigon (B/L) ( Cycling 50km)
· After breakfast, Cycling from the hotel to Co Chien River on back roads. We will ride on narrow lanes through the coconut plantations of the countryside of Thanh Phu.
· Keep cycling to My Tho, which is the gateway from Mekong Delta to Saigon. Our biking trip will end up in My Tho city.
