Day 1: Saigon – Cat Tien National Park
The first day is cycling Saigon to Nam Cat Tien park. We wake up and eat the breakfast before our tour guide meets us at 8 am at a hotel. After that, we start the Vietnam adventure by cycling from Dong Nai province to Cat Tien national park.
Our trip passes the beautiful landscapes that attract our eyes from both sides of the street. Cycling to Dong Nai, the biggest province in Southern Vietnam, you can have a great opportunity to enjoy the sights of green hill, beautiful valleys and lowland. Dong Nai is also well-known for the rubber, coffee and orchard plantation. People grow them in the rich-nutrient soil. In Dong Nai, fruits, coffee, or musical instruments like bamboo flute, copper gongs, pan-pipe, Binh Da’s dan da, and Tam Pot sings are considered as great souvenirs for friends, families and familiar people. Tourists cycling in Vietnam stop at La Nga restaurant and enjoy the delicious lunch meals. After having lunch, we get back to our Nam Cat Tien tour by cycling to Tan Phu.
We have our free time to ride around Ta Lai village and take photos of beautiful landscapes. The rolling hill trip may be a little challenging; however, tourists never feel regretful when visiting Ta Lai village. This village is well known for its cultural heritage. If you want to buy some local gifts or souvenirs, a local market is a great place where you can buy cloth and shirt made of brocade dyed with bark and leaves to have natural and beautiful colors. After visiting Ta Lai, tourists ride deep into the head quarter of Cat Tien national park and stay overnight at guest house.
Because Nam Cat Tien has proper roads, it is easy to ride with bicycles. However, if you look for something challenging and interesting, you can ask for the Vietnam mountain bike routes outside this park. In Nam Cat Tien park, you can meet and talk with Ma and S’Tieng minorities. They are willing to tell you about their cultures and their daily activities. In the evening, it is a great experience to enjoy a night safari tour after dinner. If you are not keen on this tour, you can have bird-watching tours or just relax by a peaceful river while reading a book.

Day 2: Cat Tien National Park – Saigon
On the second day, we wake up early, walk outside the guest house and listen to the song of birds. Having breakfast at the guest house or one of famous restaurants here is up to you. But The Yellow Bamboo Restaurant should be your choice because it has a good reputation of serving delicious foods such as Vietnamese rice, noodle, meat, and fish that are available with affordable prices.
After breakfast, we continue the Nam Cat Tien discovery by exploring the flora, rain forest, and fauna. We can see a diversity of animals as well as small mammals.
Traveling to Cat Tien national park, you should see the Crocodiles swamp. We come back to the guest house for lunch. In the afternoon, it is time to say goodbye to Vietnam cycling tour and a 2-day Nam Cat Tien holiday by driving back to Saigon. If you like this Vietnam adventure cycling tour, please introduce it to your friends.
